Dr Bassiouni’s practice spans both adult and paediatric ENT, covering a broad ENT focus—from routine consultations (such as tonsillitis, sinus issues, grommets) to a strong academic interest in nasal disorders focusing on functional airway problems and sinonasal surgery.
Ahmed completed his surgical training in South Australia and obtained his Fellowship degree in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery in February 2026. He relocated to Sydney in 2026 for further subspecialty fellowship training in Rhinology and Rhinoplasty under A/Prof. Yuresh Naidoo.
Ahmed’s training had a broad ENT focus and he rotated through all major hospitals in metropolitan Adelaide, including 18 months at a Paediatric ENT Hospital (Women’s & Children’s Hospital) and 18 months at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Ahmed has a strong academic interest in nasal disorders. He holds a Doctorate from the University of Adelaide and has co-authored many research publications. In the clinic, Ahmed is an attentive listener dedicated to providing the best advice tailored to every patient’s unique needs.
Ahmed performs surgical procedures at Camden Surgical Hospital and Chatswood Private Hospital.
